だと、彼に何をいうか、という意味になる。平常文にするとわかる。
to tell him what

大したことではないさ。

×　It's not a big deal.
間違いというほどでもないが、
It's no big deal
の場合、bigを否定しているので、さらりと言ってのけている感じがでる。

talk a person into
人を説いて・・・させる。
「ね、ね、今度映画見に行こうよ」
なんて誘われている時に使える。
I didn't want to see the film, but he talked me into it.
イギリス英語では、movieよりfilmやcinemaが用いられる。

やめさせるときは、
talk a person out of
